The University GOC has fifty three professors teaching in its various disciplines, fifteen among its full-time employees, each with responsibilities.
The Academic Council members testify in the following lines the capacity of leaders able to meet the needs of the UGOC.
The CEO is the main organ that carries the vision and mission of the university both locally and internationally. It shall ensure strict compliance of all the Regulations that form the infrastructure fabric of UGOC. He chairs the Academic Council and shall ensure the implementation of decisions which are are retained. Among several other tasks assigned to it, the CEO remains the responsible character who must ensure at all times the quality of training that is given to students. His academic credentials include:
Fritz Olivier, President and Founder of the UGOC holds two doctorates including one at Howard University in Theology; the other at Wesley Theological Seminary in Leadership. He is also holder of three degrees, majoring at Pratt Institute in Architecture; the second at Princeton University, in Theology; the third to Howard University in Divinity.
The bodies of academic and administrative staff are UGOC’s collaborators. The President of the University is in charge of all activities with the specific mission to develop higher education in seeking ways to build the campus on one hand, and develop on the other hand, avenues of connecting universities for exchange and partnership. UGOC is passionate about teaching and capable of expanding the vision to embrace universities across borders.
Chief Executive Officer
The President of the University is its Chief Executive Officer and reports directly to the Academic Council. The President carries the vision and mission of the university both locally and internationally. He chairs the Academic Council and enforces decisions which are approved.
The President may adopt new or revised administrative policies and procedures on the his own initiative or on the recommendation of faculty or administrative staff.
Among many other tasks assigned, the CEO remains the responsible person that must ensure at all times to the quality of training that is given to the students. His academic credentials are as follows:
The President’s responsibilities include:
- oversight of the quality of the academic programs of the University;
- supervision of the relationship between students and staff;
- administration of personnel;
- operation and maintenance of real and personal property under the jurisdiction of the University;
- consultation and cooperation with University groups on various matters, including planning for the future development of the University;
- representation of the University in public affairs
The Dean is responsible for its academic faculty.
It ensures the smooth running of all academic and para-academic activities of the Department. It defines policy of the education provided to students and ensures their implementation and their actualization. It works closely with the CEO and the other members Council in order to stay in line with the vision of UGOC. Its functions are diverse and within the scope of the imperatives that make him a character and a Independent professional with full academic authority in the management of its prerogatives.
Dejean Belizaire, Dean of the Faculty of Science and Engineering is a Doctor and Master in HC Engineering Sciences from the National School of Rural Engineering. Paris
Arnold Herard, Dean of the Faculty of Law and Lawyer Secretary General, is a Member of the Bar of Port-au-Prince for forty years, and University Doctor Sorborne of Paris IV.
Hugues Jean Rameau, Member of Council of UGOC is a Doctor of the University of Belgium.
